2 Months Old!

I can't believe it has been 2 months already! It has gone so fast and our little boy is more amazing everyday! He is smiling like crazy and loves to play!

We have been busy since our last update:

Early in June, J.P. and his dad put up a new 6 foot privacy fence. It took 3 days and a lot of hard work, but it was worth it. Rufus can now be let our without an electric collar on and they both are able to hang out outside to play and sunbathe. It makes my life a lot easier and the dogs are much happier. Since I am talking about the dogs, they continue to do amazing with Jack and they love to go on walks with him.

The first weekend in June, J.P. planned a Royals game gathering for all of his company's clients. It was a great turn out and Jack got to attend his first tailgate. He was gushed over by all of J.P.'s co-workers and clients and did not fuss at all! We did not stay for the game because I was unsure how he would react, but maybe next time!

We have also had a bunch of celebrations in June.
J.P. had his birthday on the 7th and we actually went on a date. We went to the movies to see the Avengers and we left Jack with Diane, one of my co-workers. We wanted to do dinner and a movie, but I did not really want to leave him for over 3 hours, so we snuck in Chipotle. It was nice to go on a date and Jack did great at the babysitter.

Our nieces and nephew also celebrated birthdays. We met them at the Great Wolf Lodge where we had dessert and got to play. I cannot wait until Jack is able to run around with them! We also were able to go to Topeka twice to celebrate birthdays and Father's Day (J.P.'s first!) Jack got to meet family that was in town from Vegas as well along with his cousin Briana!

We all went to my parent's house for a day at the pool. Jack liked it much better this time and almost fell asleep in the water while my mom was holding him.

I went back to work last week. So far it is going alright. It definitely helps that J.P. is able to stay home with him for a few weeks before we start full time day care. He will be going 2 times a week so he can get used to it until mid July when he will start full time. We have met with the daycare once, and he fell asleep in her arms. We are very happy with our choice!

To wrap up his 2nd month of life, he had his 2 month appointment, which meant SHOTS! He was a trooper and barely cried. The doctor says he looks great. He is now 12 pounds 14 ounces (75%), 23 1/4 inches long (50%), and his head is 16 1/4 (95%).
