Jack is also starting to move a lot more. J.P. was able to hear and feel him kicking when he put his ear on my tummy. J.P. really thought that was one of the neatest things ever. I am glad that Jack is kicking harder so J.P. can experience the movement. My parents were also able to feel him move when we were together for Christmas.
The past few weeks we have also gotten some big things accomplished. We went to buy paint for the baby room, which was a bad experience! The lady working the paint counter apparently did not normally work there, which would have been nice to know before we started! We brought our dog photo prints that we had custom done to get color matched. Although it may have been a bit confusing, we wrote down everything to make it easier. Some colors we wanted with primer in it, some without, some in a quart, and some in a gallon. We went to look around (where we did find our rug that goes perfectly in the room!) and when we came back, she did every color wrong. Instead of apologizing, she was very rude and blamed us on her mistakes! We finally got a manager to help us where he told us that they could not color match to paper. We then had to go through all the colors on the walls to try to find the closest match to the 3 colors in the prints, how annoying! We finally found the best match and the manager was able to get our order correct. To make up for everything we went through, we got a 10% discount, so we cannot complain there!
J.P. also went out one day this week and got the pictures of the dogs framed and placed the belt buckles into a shadow box. The belt buckles are from J.P.'s grandfather's collection that he inherited. We picked our 2 favorites: Santa Fe Railroad with Jack Price written on it and the Golden Eagle which was his call sign when he was in the Navy.

We also found a changing table (with drawers) and a dresser that matches our crib! We got both for the amount we were budgeting for just a dresser... thanks Craigslist!
Well that is about it on an update! Hopefully the next post will include pictures of the painted nursery!
