1 Month Old

We cannot believe it has been 1 month since we met our little boy. Our love for him grows more and more everyday. Jack is still doing well! He is up to 10 pounds 6 ounces and continues to sleep and eat like a pro. At about 3 weeks, however, Jack had hand, foot, and mouth disease. We are not sure how he got that, but he seemed to not be too bothered by it and he never got a fever. Hopefully he will not get sick again for a long while!

Since the last post, Jack has been pretty active.

He had his first trip to the pool. We were also able to celebrate my birthday, my mom's birthday, and mother's day with my parents.

He took his first trip to Topeka on Mother's Day where Great-Grandma got to give him his bottle.

We have been doing a lot more tummy time and playing on the floor. The dogs love to lay with him!

Jack loves hanging out with dad.

We also took our first trip to Grandma Deb's work and to my work. I can't believe I only have 4 more weeks before I have to go back to work. I wish I could just bring him with me!

Week 2

The 2nd week of Jack's life was a lot less busy then his first. Most of the time was spent sleeping, eating, pooping, and cuddling with his mom, dad, and grandparents.

On May 2nd, Jack's 2 week birthday and my 27th birthday, was probably the most exciting day for the Price family. The night before, J.P. surprised me with a gift certificate to get a massage (which will soon be redeemed) and a cute little onesie for Jack to wear on my birthday. I woke up that morning to J.P. making me breakfast (pancakes and eggs) and we spent most of the morning lounging around and watching a movie. We then went to Jack's 2 week appointment where we found out that he is now 9 pounds! The pediatrician was also very impressed on his neck strength, saying that is what she would expect from a 2 month old! After the appointment, we went to eat at Houlihan's for my birthday lunch and Jack did great, sleeping through the entire meal. The rest of the afternoon was spent with more cuddling before J.P. made me a fantastic dinner of a tomato and avocado salad, a steak stuffed with onions and mushrooms, and grilled asparagus. Then, after dinner, Jack got his first submersion bath, which he liked better then the sponge bath, and J.P. was able to feed him his first bottle! Overall, it was probably the best birthday I have had!

Cuddling!

The onesie J.P. bought for Jack to wear on my birthday.

First submersion bath.

Daddy feeding his first bottle...I think I have been replaced!

All smiles after his morning meal.

First family walk with all 4 of my boys!
